Carving out….

The wooden statues put for sale on the roadside surely does lure many passers by, these are made by few artisans working just nearby demonstrating their skills..

Few tribal artisans work out their skills on waste wood and put to sale their carvings on roadside near the markets. They bring out quite a different style and are very fast to produce these goodies for customers roaming by….

Very interesting. I love that you show them working and the end product!

They do all look very similar - is there much variation in the designs?

Thank you all, keeps me going!

Maria, it's all about bargaining, they start anything from $20-30 and I know ending up seliing to ahrd bargainer for just $4-5, again it depends on what time of day and week the bargain happens, generally on weekdays they sell at lower cost to oush through the week and on weekends they crack good deals too!!
