Crazy Traffic...
Now that this is not new to bangalore...narrow roads, big buses ( double ), too many cars, parked and on the road...the avarage speed per hour is dropping to 8 km/hr...No of Vechicles : 26.8 lakhs (2680000) as on Jan 2006.
900 new vechicles are being registered in bangalore every day. So you can imagine number of vechicles growing every year.
Some initiatives being taken like this ... or others bloggers writing about it...even some video's...

Wow that's a real mess. If you're only going 8km/hour why not just walk? Other older cities have similar problems, being that they were not originally constructed with cars in mind.
I wonder if Bangalore can build a rail system? They seem to be doing well in technology industry
Yes, Kala > Bangalore will soon have a Metro rail and another Mono rail connecting important city locations....
